Suwannee County Multi-Day Arrest Log
The Suwannee County Sheriff's Office posts no separate weekly arrest log. One URL covers everything. The official SmartCOP Jail Search handles the job. Users set begin and end booking dates there. That builds a 72-hour, seven-day, or custom view from the same system holding current jail records. Calling it a date-range search is more accurate than a fixed blotter.
A generated results address may embed encoded search state, but it is not a stable archive link. Start fresh at the base page each visit. Blank name fields give the broadest set. Choose booking dates rather than release dates, pick a useful sort, and use "Load more results." The first cards may not cover the whole range.

Each field answers a different question. Booking-date fields collect people booked into Suwannee County Jail during the chosen interval, while release-date fields collect anyone whose recorded release falls inside it. The two sets are not the same. Mix them and a blotter looks incomplete, so decide which event matters before filling out the form.
- Open the SmartCOP base search instead of saving an encoded result URL.
- Clear the name fields to survey the broadest booking set for the period.
- Enter the beginning and ending booking dates for the chosen multi-day window.
- Sort the result and use “Load more results” until the returned set is exhausted.
- Open entries one at a time and compare booking number, agency, time, status, charge table, bond, and holds.
- Run a separate release-date search if the real question is who left custody during that span.
For something still unfolding, the 24 Hour Arrests view offers a quick check. The multi-day search is the backward tool. Neither is a court docket.
Suwannee Arrest-Log Entry Fields
Each result is a booking snapshot, not a life story. SmartCOP links identifying details to charge and custody blocks. Yet every field carries a narrow meaning. Status reflects the system at the moment of viewing. A listed bond can sit beside a hold, and a charge can change after a first court appearance.
| Entry field | What the field establishes |
|---|---|
| Name, race/sex, and age | Identity details recorded for that intake; age is measured on the booking date. |
| Booking and MNI numbers | Jail identifiers that help target a records request. Neither proves a conviction. |
| Booking timestamp | When intake was recorded, which may differ from the time of the alleged incident. |
| Agency | The arresting agency, such as SCSO or Live Oak Police Department. |
| Charge table | Booked statute, description, degree, level, case number, and bond where supplied. |
| Status and holds | The recorded custody state plus a distinct hold block when one exists. |
| Photograph | Observed public adult entries had an enlarge option, but no complete SCSO photo policy was published. |
Charge text is not the end of the case. It may leave out a later amendment, dismissal, withheld adjudication, diversion, sentence, appeal, sealing, or expungement. The Suwannee County Clerk says court records are not online. A final disposition often takes direct court contact once a case number is known.
Public adult photographs appear on the roster. It is not a permanent photo archive, though. Juvenile matters, sealed entries, and released bookings may show no image at all. A missing photo never means a missing arrest.
Suwannee Roster Range and Limits
SmartCOP offers print, sort, booking-date, and release-date controls. SCSO states no maximum public date range. Date fields hint you can reach further back. No guarantee comes with them, and old bookings may not stay online forever. The "Load more results" button also never says how many entries wait beyond the first group.
Persistence and legal retention are two different things. A card can roll off public display while the agency still keeps the booking report or photograph under a records schedule. A released person may vanish from current results. The sheriff and arresting agency can still hold responsive records all the same. Technical faults, lawful exemptions, sealed material, or a correction can also change what appears.
- Booking range
- The interval used to locate jail intake events.
- Release range
- The separate interval used to locate departures from custody.
- Archive
- A retained collection of older records, which SmartCOP is not documented to provide without limit.
- Disposition
- The court outcome that completes the legal story beyond the arrest log.
Note: Public web visibility does not measure how long the originating agency keeps an arrest or booking record on file.
Local Suwannee Arrest Blotters
Local reporting can explain a notable event or show how arrest news was framed at the time. The Riverbend News Jail Report is the closest blotter-style source around. Its posts run weekly or irregular. They can include booking-style photographs. They are not a complete official roster. WTXL's Suwannee County coverage carries occasional arrest and law-enforcement stories, not a day-by-day log.
A historic Suwannee Democrat scan shows a weekly arrest record inside an older newspaper issue. It works as dated archival reporting. It cannot answer a current custody question, since news can omit routine bookings, publish late, or keep an early charge after a case changes.
No news source should outrank SmartCOP or the record custodian. Check names, booking dates, and agencies against the official record. Then seek the court disposition before drawing conclusions.
The RecentlyBooked Suwannee County section is another unofficial view. It carries its own update markers.

Its listings can run stale or incomplete. Use it only after the official sources.
Unofficial Suwannee Arrest Archives
Plenty of third-party sites post Suwannee County arrest material. None of them answer to the sheriff's office, the jail, or the Clerk. That matters when SmartCOP drops an older booking from view. A copied entry can sit online long after a correction, a release, or a final court result changes the story. So treat the official record as the first stop. The county indexes include Arrests.org, Busted Newspaper, and Muglist. All three are secondary copies. None can confirm current custody. If a name appears on one of these pages but not in SmartCOP, ask SCSO for the actual booking record. Then check the court outcome with the Clerk. The Arrests.org county index illustrates how an unofficial page organizes its agency filter and disclaimers.

The page view reflects the site at one moment. It cannot say who sits in the Suwannee County jail today.
Request Older Suwannee Arrest Records
When a date search comes up empty, figure out who actually holds the paper. SCSO keeps the jail booking record. Live Oak Police may hold the incident report. The Clerk keeps the later court file. The Clerk says its court records are not online. It routes arrest reports and warrants elsewhere. A narrow request beats a vague one. Include the full name, rough arrest and booking dates, arresting agency, and booking number or MNI if known. Say which item you want, like a booking report, arrest report, or photo. Send it to SCSO records custodian Traci McCormick at (386) 364-3417 after confirming routing. Chapter 119 governs access in Florida, though it never promises every record stays visible on SmartCOP.
- Save the SmartCOP identifiers and date range already checked.
- Ask SCSO for the booking material created by the jail.
- Ask the arresting agency for its arrest or incident report when that is a separate record.
- Use the case number to contact the proper Clerk criminal division for later disposition.

Read Suwannee Charges Carefully
A Suwannee County arrest log freezes a case at its earliest stage. The booking charge can change. A prosecutor may revise it or drop it. The final outcome lives in the court file. A booking photo shows only that a photo was taken at the jail.
Use identifiers when matching similar names. Read bond and an "In Jail" flag as booking facts only. For county-wide coverage of rosters, booking photos, warrants, and records channels, see the Suwannee County Recent Arrests hub. The court, not a copied archive, settles the charge.
